DDI BiPlane Damper Sealing System

• DDI Biplane blades do not overlap or close against a seat, but controls leakage by sweeping one surface next to another.

• Optional flexible seals bridge the remaining gap and extend the sealing range of the rigid edges.

• All flexible seals except the trailing face blade to frame seal are pressure loaded, preventing flutter.

• DDI exclusive spring loaded jamb seal keeps the blade end leak gap constant.
