DDI NOxCore Nozzle

• The NOxCore nozzle distributes the coal in the transport air regardless of entry segregation and delivers it to the fuel nozzle.

• The NOxCore nozzle takes any fuel inlet condition and converts it to a predictably distributed fully fluidized two phase flow.

• The NOxCore pulverized coal delivery system meets all currently proposed US Federal NOx emissions on every boiler/coal combination Eagleair has analyzed.

• Over fire air is not required after the conversion to NOxCore fuel staging burners. Over fire air reduces boiler efficiency and increases carbon in the ash.

• Every NOxCore system is tested before shipment to confirm fuel distribution.

• Ignition, NOx control, and combustion completion are inherent in the system.

• All parts of the distribution nozzle that direct high energy coal flow are ceramic or refractory lined to minimize wear.

• All flow defining components are protected from thermal damage.

• No NOxCore maintenance is performed from inside the boiler.

• The NOxCore central tube allows central ignition or alternative fuel delivery.
